MTC

February 2019, Australia

The task

The not-for-profit MTC has grown significantly since its beginnings as the Marrickville Community Training Centre, originally focused on serving its local community. Today, its services go beyond government education programs, offering a full range of employment, mentoring, and training support designed to guide people toward meaningful work and strengthen communities. Principals developed a bright and optimistic brand identity, and my role was to create a series of illustrations that embody MTC’s core values: Empathy, Achievement, Innovation, and Collaboration. Unlike the photography commonly used in the sector, these illustrations help the organisation stand out by conveying warmth, approachability, and the ability to capture abstract ideas that photography cannot.
